Solvit Recruitment are on the lookout for an Experienced Transport Supervisor

You will be working with a well-known company, who are now looking for their next long term Transport Supervisor, you will be looking after all the Transport from the Vans though to the HGV, you will be confident and lead the drivers and maintaining the fantastic pool of drivers

You will be in charge of Vans through to HGV.

Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 16:00. 1 hour lunch deduction.

45 Hours per week.

Hourly rate of £15.29.

Weekly pay minimum £688.05.

Yearly from 35,778.60.

Requirements.

• Oversee all route planning.
• Adjusting the transport plan as required to suit the business needs, with a focus on efficiency & productivity
• Ensuring full compliance with all transport regulations
• Responsible for ensuring all vehicle systems are working, are vehicle legal, roadworthy & compliant with organisational procedures & that all relevant legal, safety & operating requirements are met.
• Maintain & Develop Customer Relationships
• Promote collaboration & positive teamwork
• Complete all necessary administration duties in a timely manner

Strengths, Skills and Competencies

• Extensive previous experience in a similar role within the logistics sector
• Proactive participation in a team environment
• Attention to detail & problem solving skills
• Commercial Acumen
• Driver Management
• Experience of full & part load planning
• Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office
